About...

This site was developed in late 2001 for the sole purpose to explore internet technologies - i.e. azzopardi.info was a learning / discovery project we decided to create using microsoft and other internet technologies, which consist of Javascripts, Widegets, RSS feeds etc. Currently, it is deployed on a Windows 2003 Server running on a VMWare ESXi 4.01 virtual server. Also, we have implemented other services such as eMail, HFS, DotNet WebServices etc.

Who Am I...

Hi,

I'm a Software Developer (App/Web) and a certified Systems Analyst with over 21 years experience in the field. Based in Malta, Europe, I offer my skills to local and foreign, small to medium size businesses.

I have earned several diploma's in ICT, a BSc(Hons) in Computing & Information Systems and other IT related certifications - while I still remain part of the Member of the Institute of Analyst Programmers (UK).

In my free time, I enjoy watching TV, (CNN, Euronews, NASA, Discovery Channel etc.) and Sci-Fi films/series, playing PC games, (FSX, NFS, C&C etc), researching technologies (in 2003-2004 i ventured in building 2 robots - iCybots & Tom), reading books (e.g. Beautiful Code by Oram & Wilson) and last but not least, enjoying time spent with my family - when possible going abroad on holiday.(like Scotland, Holland, London, Paris, Germany, Poland, Sicily) .
